The fact that you had doubt enough to ask the question gives you your answer. If you believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins, was brought back to life and is sitting on the right hand of God, and you've asked him to come into your heart, and you truly believe this, and you've asked Jesus to forgive you of your sins and change your life and you walk as a christian now, you have been born again, which means you are to be Christ like. Christ had no hatred for anyone or anything and especially the innocent. So you need to pray and ask Jesus to remove those feelings of hatred toward animals and hatred of any kind. Read your Bible daily and you'll find answers and be fine.
- The answer really depends on how the individual "hates all animals" and what "killing kittens" and supporting those who do means. One can be a Christian and dislike or even shun pets. One can be a Christian and be involved with euthanizing animals, and/or support those who do. If the person kills kittens because they think it's "fun," or are vicious in doing so, that could reveal a bitter heart that hasn't been fully turned over to the Lord. Still, whether one is saved or not can only be judged by God; we can only see the fruit.

Many faiths would consider a person with these attributes one without a conscience. All of us (no matter what faith) are suppose to respect what is on earth. Western Indians were not Christians as we know Christianity, but did pray to "Father Sky & Mother Earth" and respected everything on earth. This includes respecting animals and nature as a whole.
If someone is vicious and kills animals then they need counseling. I've yet to meet anyone who didn't like animals and my father's old saying was "If a person doesn't like animals beware because it tells you a lot about that person!" It doesn't mean you have to own a pet, but to have a hatred for animals to me is not normal in the least.
Scientific studies of serial killers have shown that many have started out by killing dogs and cats. A big warning sign!
