The non petitioning spouse can contest the dissolution of marriage terms.

However, the matters cited are not valid grounds for contestation.

You should contact an attorney and discuss this with them. Usually the courts look at your salary and have a formula that they use to figure out how much you will owe. I would say pay it. If you don't, you can get your wages garnished, not be able to renew your driver's license or get a passport, or be jailed.
