Does Reliv slow the growth of breast cancer? |
[Edit] |
Answer
Reliv is quality nutritional supplement. Most people who faithfully take one to three recommended servings daily (known as "shakes" ) find their immune system is strengthened. With a healthy immune system, the body is better able to fight against autoimmune conditions such as cancer. As part of a holistic medical response to treating the disease, Reliv has been effective at combating the cancer and helping the body put the condition into remission.
Some people try to discredit Reliv products on websites by claiming Reliv has an illegal code of practice, and that the company treats its employees badly. However, many of their employees have been working for the company for more than twenty years.
Reliv is a quality company and because of its success. the quality of the products and high ethical standards, many people attempt to discredit them.
A little research will reveal that Reliv International is named one of the fastest growing small public companies of 2007 by Fortune magazine.
Business Week calls it one of the best companies in the US to work for. They also name is as one of the top 100 hot growth comapnies.
DeMarche Associates names Reliv as one of the top 100 companies in the US.
Reliv does have a proprietary blend of ingredients that enables nutrients to be optimally used by the body.
You can do your own research and come to a decision.
If you can obtain fruits and vegetables that are certified organic and grown in ground that has an abundance of the appropriate minerals for maximum and optimal nutrition, it would be very beneficial to juice them with a blender and make a nice shake.

Anybody can write anything they want on the internet without regard to research or actual facts.
Facts about Reliv: The company is 20 years old and operates in the United States and several foreign countries. In 20 years of doing business, Reliv has never had a litigation or a lawsuit having to do with any of their products. The company has been written up in Fortune, Forbes, Business Week and numerous other publications as being among one of the best run small businesses in the country. Reliv is listed on the NASDAQ which means that their records are open. They are members of the Direct Selling Association, which is by invitation only. Only a company of great integrity and business ethics is permitted membership - there are thousands of Direct Selling companies, and only a few hundred have been invited to be a part of the Direct Selling Association.
The US Patent office, in it's entire history, has only granted about 12 or 13 patents on food products for all food science or nutrition companies combined. Reliv has 5 of those patents - granted, not just pending. In order to get a US patent on food, you must prove that 100% of the ingredients listed are actually in the product (FDA says that for vitamin supplents only 30% of ingredients listed actually have to be in the product), the product must be different and unique from anything else out there, and success must be shown in studies. 5 patents. That means that all of the other nutrition companies combined must split the other 6. Scams can't obtain patents.
As far as whether these products can help a brain injury, Reliv doesn't make any health claims; however, the distributors share their testimonies among each other and there are a number of testimonies of people having life changing results with this and a number of other issues (more testimonies of people regaining their memories after suffering short term memory loss from an accident than I can count!); thousands upon thousands of testimonies with results from lots and lots of issues.
This is not a vitamin supplement, but a synergistically balanced bioavailable product that the body recognizes as food that contains the essential nutrients it needs. It has no health warnings on it (even your children's Flintstone vitamins have health warnings!) as it is so safe that it is given to babies in their bottles and in the hospital to people on feeding tubes.
As far as disgruntled customers or former employees, this company deals with thousands of people worldwide, and I have seen numerous times where people did not take the products as directed, or were inconsistent, and then after a few days quit when they did not see results. The body takes 90-120 days for the blood cells to start turning over, and everyone I have seen who has taken these products for at least 90-120 days has experienced positive results. The employees of Reliv I have met are among the nicest, most positive people I could be honored to meet, and I would be amazed to find anyone disgruntled. There are, however, a lot of slanderers out there, especially those with a "competing product" to try to "huck".
The best research I can advise is to talk to many distributors, and ask one question:"What's your story?" - or "What kind of results have you seen with this product?" You'll be amazed at the answers.
