Answer
You can use hot, soapy water. There are also "cleaning packs" you can buy at your major grocery stores. These packs are fantastic. You just follow the directions (be sure to cut one end first) and put in your microwave oven and set it on the length of time by package directions.
Personally, I like good old hot soapy water. Be sure to do the roof of the microwave as well, and don't forget to move it and clean underneath. The glass rotating plate can just be washed along with your dishes.

Soap and water work great in a combo oven provided you don't do any heavy roasting or baking of food that might splatter like beef. THEN, you have a real mess on your hands and can't get the microwave-convection oven clean and spotless. I don't have a solution which is why I came to your site. I'll keep trying.
We don't have a micro/convection oven but my wife covers food (especially meats, pork, beef etc.) with parchment paper, purchased from grocery stores, which stops any splatter but doesn't effect the heating ability of the oven getting to the food being cooked. It works well in a microwave oven and doesn't cause problems like using aluminum foil which is a no-no.
