How Long It Can Last
As long as both people are OK with it and trying to make it work, then it can last as long as they want it to. It is very hard to have a long distance realationship and if you are young, it is less likely to work out. But it can work if you both try.
Read on for more comments about long-distance relationships:
- I believe that long distance realtionships don't make any sense at all, there is no answer for how long can a long distance relationship last. that's for you to answer, why would you want to have a long distance relation with someone if there's a lot of boy (girls), try finding someone who lives around your neighborhood.
- I think till.. the time when there is no feeling left FROM BOTH SIDES!
- It's not about distance, it's about compatability. If you are not comfortable with it don't get involved. There are contact relationships that don't survive, too.
- I've been in a long distance relationship for 2 years now and now I'm getting married. I'm only 17-years-old. Obviously there's something about long distance relationships that can work themselves out. I've only met him once. You just have to trust them.
- Although some posters on this board will disagree with me, it's a very low percent of long distance relationships working out. Now, if you were going with a person for several months to a year and formed a loving relationship (you can only accomplish this by sight, sound, vocal and touch) and they had to move away to a college or go to war then I would say the chances are much higher that a long distance relationship would work.
The good old fashion way of boy meeting girl still works just fine in this day and age, and the only problem some people really have is they want "quick fixes" and don't want to have to work to find that special someone. Too bad, because that's most of the thrill of finding that person, loving them, sharing and being excited to go out with them on a date.
- Chemistry duration only can help these kinds of relationships
