How long would a person go to jail or prison if he has four felony convictions? |
[Edit] |
Answer
IT DEPENDS ON THE JUDGE;HE HAS LAST SAY IN EVERY THING,THEY SAY THERE'S A THREE STRIKE LAW WITH FELONIES. YOU SEE THEY CAME UP WITH A THREE STRIKE FELONY BECAUSE OF THE HEAVY DRUG TRAFFICING BACK IN THE DAY,THIS LAW WAS MADE SO ANY ONE CAUGHT SALING OR TRAFFICING DRUGS WAS A LAGITAMIT KNOW FELONY AND TWENTY TO LIFE WAS THE SENTENCE WHEN THIS LAW WAS PASTED IN THE 60's,50's UNKNOWN NO ONE KNEW IT WOULD ALSO EFFECT OTHER CRIMES SUCH AS; IF YOU STOLE OVER I THINK 500 DOLLARS IT S A FELONY IF YOU TOOK 250 ITS A MISDEMEANOR. HOW LONG TO SERVE IS UP TO THE AND DEPENDING ON THE CRIME,JUDGES CHOICE ......GOOD LUCK
In Illinois $150.00 and less is a felony, it varies with the different state laws. There are alos some companies that have a "No tolerance Policy" and you could steal something that is only a $1.00 which would just be s misdemeanor and still go to jail. All background is checked and used against a person for any crimes committed in their past.
