I am a Disease Intervention Specialist in Public Health - overly grandiose title meaning I see to it that people infected or exposed to four STD's are tested and treated. My degrees are both in Political Science and yes, it's a very long story as to how that happened.

When I'm not being overworked by my job or spending entirely too much time on the Internet I dress up in very old fashioned clothes and pretend to be from the Middle Ages. It's okay, I'm not (very) nuts - it's a re-enactor group (yeah, like the Civil War guys) called the Society for Creative Anachronism - I've been a member for, er, a very long, long time... (okay, I admit it - I'm old).

I'm also a candidate for the ministry - assuming I ever get my act back together - and my job quits trying to kill me.

Well, that's about it - just your run-of-the-mill seriously abnormal person! Now, if you'll excuse me I have way too many cats and one poor lonely dog all of whom are of the opinion that I should feed them now. Wouldn't want to disappoint!
