Hello fellow Wikipedians.I'm 44 years of age and emigrated to Australia in1969 from Iceland. I am the youngest in a family of 9 siblings, and we all communicate in our native tongue.I work as a spray painter/fairer/fibreglass laminater in the boatbuilding industry. I enjoy my job of the last 3 years, because we build the most luxurious tenderboats in the world, and take quality to its extreme at every stage. My hobbies include car restoration, music,high-end hi-fi, camping,fishing,golf,photography, and in the last decade I have taken to reading a lot about contemporary history and international politics. I read the works of Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, Naomi Klein,Lewis H. Lapham and many others. Since Bush came to power my interest has turned to alarm and fear.Many of my answers reflect my anger about Injustice, and the dishonesty and criminality of governments, and the complience of the media.I am no communist,I just believe in true democracy and human rights. My other interest is science, especially astronomy and evolution. I am an athiest.I've never married or had children-no particular reason,and it can still happen. In any case, I have a dozen nephews and nieces to love. My main hobby of late has been, well, wikianswers.It's a great site and somewhat addictive.I sometimes spend an entire evening reading all the great contributions- particularly the older questions.I like cleaning up the really good ones, and fixing mistakes in them.There are some very smart people out there.I like to answer questions when I feel I have something of value to add.I've been asked to be a super, but I like things just the way they are.Bye for now.
