Crystal Waters Lagoon is a large lagoon near Coffs Harbour, in New South Wales, Australia. It is a wetland in danger from various factors. It is seriously affected by the weed known as Salvinia, which blankets the surface of the water and kills much of the organisms below that rely on the sun. There is a golf course nearby which allows nutrients to flow into the lagoon. There is also a residential area with hard road surfaces which allow run-off from petrol and oil spills.
