What are the nine planets in the solar system?

[Edit]

The nine planets

The nine planets of the solar system (from closest to the sun outward) are, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Note that Pluto was recently "demoted" and declared a dwarf planet.
