You need to understand how a business works, how to price your services, know what services to offer, learn and understand who your target audience is, whether they can afford/or want to pay your prices, learn about marketing, forecasting, pricing, relationship management etc.

You need to at least have some good organization skills and be able to come up with some creative ideas for the wedding. Also You need to have some good social skills to be able to communicate with the bride and groom.
