Most likely, Special Ops personnel will wear their combat boots instead of hiking boots.
Nike at one point were making a kind of sneaker-boot for SpecOps personnel. However, boot design will be driven by mission. What you need on your feet changes if you're humping an 80lb pack across rugged terrain as opposed to no pack at all in an urban setting.
