What can you say to a coworker caring for a terminally ill parent? |

Answer
It's refreshing to meet someone so caring as you. If you really want to help out tell the person you are there for them and if they need a break you are willing to help out with their parent. Sometimes they just need a shoulder to cry on or get their anger and frustration out (no one likes to lose a parent.) Perhaps one Friday at work you could ask them to go to a dinner and movie. Be sure you give them lots of time to prepare the care for the ill parent if they are still at home and not in hospital. It would give this person a break from the hard task of watching their parent die. Be sure you see an up-lifting movie or ask which one they would like to see.
