Substitute: Mix together to taste ground ginger, cumin, coriander, fenugreek, turmeric, and fennel
That's what I found when I looked up your answer, but I'll be darn if I've ever heard of most of that stuff. I'd use chili powder, finnel seed, and the tiniest pinch of ginger instead.
If curry powder is too spicy for you, you can always get the mild version instead.
