- Mechanics
- Tank Drivers
- Building Ships
- Working in factories (Making bombs and Aircraft parts)
- Air Raid Wardens
- Driving Fire Engines
- Plumbers
- Ambulance Drivers
- WRVS Volunteers
- Nurses
Women also had to do their husband's job while they were fighting in the war.
