What does a GS in Netball do?

In: Netball
[Edit]

Answer

Goal Shooters (GS) main role is to shoot as many goals as possible. The GS is geniunly the taller shooter in the team. GA and GS work closely together.

The Goal shooter stays in the goal third, and is unable to go into the centre court. They mainly stay in the goal circle, or may lead just outside of the circle.

GS is accurate, and genuinly the most acurate player in the team. The shooter will take most of the shots for the game.

They make short, sharp moves. GS also may hold strong a recieve high lobs. The GS gives the team something to aim for and is the main target in the attacking end.
