What is a person who doesn't believe in God called? |
[Edit] |
Answer
Generally, the term used for anyone who doesn't believe in the Abrahamic God is "pagan." Just because one doesn't believe in the Christian God doesn't mean they don't believe in any god or gods, so "atheist" is not the right answer here.
But if you're talking about the Christian God only, and not the other Abrahamic religions (Judaism and Islam), then frankly there is no one-word description, unless you want to count "non-Christian."
Atheist
It depends on whether you don't believe in god and think that god doesn't exist, or if you don't believe in "god" but think there might be something out there. There is a different word for each.
