What is fat? |
Answer
Fat is a substance found in many deep fried, sugar filled, UNHEALTHY foods. Fat is categorized into 3 different categories:
Saturated fat (Sat. Fat)
Transaction fat (Trans. Fat)
Unsaturated fat (Unsat. Fat)
Sat and Trans fat are both solid at room temperature.
Fat, as general category, is absolutely required by the body. Fats are an example of lipids, a class of molecules all living things produce. You would die without it, so don't attempt to eliminate it from your diet.
