Most sites say 16, though there is one site that has a copy of Maryland's actual law code spelled out that describes the age to be 14 (however, the date and the validity is unsure)

I was able to find an actual copy of the state code that stated you must be within 4 years of the person, and that they must be at least 14. HOWEVER, I believe that the law (as stated above) is actually 16, and that you must still be within 4 years of the person until they are 18.

Actually, I'm 99% sure the age of consent in maryland is 16-if one wants to have sex with someone the age of 21. However, anyone aged 14 to 16 is allowed to have sex if they're partner is within 4 years of their age.
