What is the average age for pre-school girls to start reading? |
[Edit] |
Answer
Girls usually start reading before boys and it can happen as early as a year old believe it or not (just a few words they will recognize in a children's book), but the norm is a little older. I have noticed that many children learn to read better by seeing pictures they can relate too, while some children don't need pictures. Either way it doesn't matter as long as they are encouraged slowly to read.
