Being married to man that served in the United States Marine Corps and now in the highway patrol, my husband and I have moved alot. Just in the past 5 years, we have moved 4 times! What we do, is we begin to pack things up that we are not using such as decorations and out of season clothes and shoes. We put them in boxes and list on the outside of the box what it is like clothes, candles or whatever you have in there. About a month before we move, we start to pack up some of the towels, wash cloths, a bed sheets that we know that we wont use. We leave a few out for us to use though. A week before we move, we always pack up eating utensils, dish ware, cook ware and glasses, we start to eat out. Then a day or two before we move, we pack everything else up and label it all of course. The day of the move, all we have to do is to load the boxes onto the Budget truck.
