Gelato, a sorbet-like dessert available in a wide variety of flavours, is very popular in Italy for dessert. Also popular is tiramisu and an array of fruit and sweet cheese pastries such as cannolis or glazed fruit tarts.
It is really hard to say what is the MOST popular in Italy, I believe it's the Tiramisu,
