Answer
Do you mean to tell me that my Springfield A. 1929 Model Single Shot 12 ga. is only worth $70, that cannot be right. Its not in the blue book, so where is the right value?
Answer
Why do you think your Springfield Arms shotgun is valuable? You should be able to find it in the Blue Book if you look under Stevens Arms. I know it is in the Standard Catalog of Firearms. Springfield was the economy grade of Stevens which was the second-tier division of Savage. It's a good and serviceable shotgun, but it's still a single shot, break-action, utility gun. You can buy a brand-new Baikal or Boito for $80, so a second-hand gun is going to be less.First answer by ID0000000000. Last edit by All Hat No Horse. Contributor trust: 1341 [recommend contributor].
