What might the consequences be if you allow your spouse to drive knowing they have been convicted of DUI's and have a suspended license if he or she kills someone in an accident?

[Edit]

Answer

The operative word here is "allow", the consequences would depend upon the actual circumstances under which the act occurred.

That worse case scenario is, she or he could be considered an accomplice and be held equally responsible in any subsequent criminal proscecution and/or civil litigation.

How much whisky can you drink before you get drunk?  If you are married can your spouse drive the car without a license?  What would happen to a spouse if they let their 3 time drunk driver offender drive a car with no license and insurance in the spouses name and the drunk gets in an accident and kills someone?
