Christian eschatology
In Christian eschatology, the Antichrist has come to mean a person, image of a person, or other entity that is the embodiment of evil and utterly opposed to truth, while convincingly disguised as wholly good and a bringer of truth.
Answer
And in speaking of "the horns being like a lamb," he means that he will make himself like the Son of God, and set himself forward as king. And the terms, "he spoke like a dragon," mean that he is a deceiver, and not truthful. And the words, "he exercised all the power of the first beast before him, and caused the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed," signify that, after the manner of the law of Augustus, by whom the empire of Rome was established, he too will rule and govern, sanctioning everything by it, and taking greater glory to himself.

On Christ and Antichrist (Hippolytus)
Some believe this shows that the Pope is the Anti Christ.
Answer
Satan is the ultimate Antichrist, it is he who is trying to destroy the work of Christ. He knows for a surety that Jesus is the Christ, he was with him in the pre-existence and was himself given the title of Sun of the Morning. He knows that the purpose of the Lord is to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man and will do all in his power to stop this work. He has his followers who are assisting him, the one third of the hosts of heaven who were cast out with him. They have their reward. As for we humans who have turned against the Lord, it will only be as bad for those who have received a testimony through the Holy Ghost and then have denied it. They may be loosely termed as Anti-Christ, but as Christ said when upon the cross "Father forgive them for they know not what they do".
Multiple Antichrists
The apostle John, in his first letter, mentions that "many Antichrists have come" (1 John 2:18-19). The passage indicates that these Antichrists were individuals who were taught under the apostles or others of the body of Christ, but chose to leave the group for whatever reason; John says they "did not really belong to us." This may indicate false teachers acting in the name of Christ, or apostates, or a variety of other possible interpretations.
Answer
supposedly, the Antichrist is ultimate evil - opposed to Christ I do believe Satan exists, but not necessarily as the Antichrist but it could be the same though.
Answer
The anti-Christ is any body whether big or small, king or peasant who is diametrically opposed to in any form to the mission of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ; Which is to reconcile mankind to the creator God through the remission of his own blood.
Answer
Paul is the Anti-Christ.
Jesus said:
Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven
Matthew 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
Paul;
- Luke 16:16 - The law and the prophets were until John [the Baptist]: since that time the kingdom of heaven is preached. - - Romans 6:14 - Ye are not under the law, but under grace. - - Romans 7:4, 6 - Ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ .... We are delivered from the law, that being dead. - - Romans 10:4 - Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. - - Galatians 5:18 - But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. - - Ephesians 2:15 - Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances
Galatians 3:23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 3:25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
I think the Antichrist is a person named Maitreya who is called the world teacher. Maitreya is also the name of the fifth Buddha of peace and his name is = to 666 in all forms of numerology/gematria
The Final Antichrist is Yet to be Revealed.
A person described in the New Testament book of 2 Thessalonians, firstly in chapter 2 verse 3, as "that man of sin" and "the son of perdition", and again in verse 8 as "that Wicked"; is to be distinguished from the "many antichrists" of 1 John 2:18, and the "spirit of antichrist" which 1 John 4:3 says is characteristic of everyone who disbelieves that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh.
The revealing to the world of the final antichrist will, according to 2 Thessalonians 2:3, come after a falling away, known as the Great Apostasy, in which the professing church not only accepts heresies and error, but departs from the true faith while continuing to maintain an outward profession of Christianity, thus eventually earning for herself the title mentioned in Revelation 17:1.
From within this state of apostasy, professed Christians will reject biblical truth as to both the deity of Jesus Christ, and redemption through His atoning and redeeming sacrifice. The fact of His human suffering and death being once required as a permanent and continuously perfect offering to purchase salvation for sinners, is no longer valued by the apostates who in these times "shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their conscience seared with a hot iron." (1 Timothy 4:1+2)
The "many antichrists", who operate in the "spirit of the antichrist", precede and prepare the way for the final antichrist who "opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God." (2 Thessalonians 2:4)
When the professing church becomes irreversibly corrupted in the Great Apostasy, the restraining element of the Holy Spirit will be removed, the mystery of iniquity which has been at work will manifest unchecked, and satan will show off, with " all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth that they might be saved." (2 Thessalonians 2:9+10)
In the book of Revelation, John is given messages from the Lord Jesus Christ for seven representative churches urging them to remember, repent, overcome, hold fast, keep, be watchful, strengthen, anoint, buy things of spiritual value, and to hear what the Spirit says.
The sixth church, Philadelphia, is, in the minds of some scholars, representative of the true church within the merely professing church, and as such, Revelation 3:10 which says " Because thou have kept the word of my patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth", is speaking in support of the so-called Rapture of the true church in which all believing Christians are transported from the earth before the final antichrist initiates the beast system which involves an alliance with satan and the false prophet, and becomes a three and a half year time of great tribulation. (Revelation 13)
Regardless of satan, the beast, the false prophet, the mark of the beast and those who by accepting it become antichrists, (see WikiAnswers "What is the Mark of the Beast?") according to Thessalonians 2:8, when the final antichrist is revealed, the Lord Jesus Christ will consume him with the spirit of His mouth and destroy him with the brightness of His coming!
Answer
Satan is the Antichrist. At an unnounced time he will appear in the skies proclaiming to be Jesus, he will have his own angels acting as the Heavenly Hosts. He will try to decieve as many he can into believing he is in fact Jesus. This is where Gods ' elect ' come in. They are the 12000 who were chosen from each of the 12 tribes of Irael totalling 144000. They, the elect, will confront the Antichrist in an effort to discredit him. When challenging the Antichrist, the elect must allow the Holy Spirit to speak through them during their confrontation. If at any time, any of the elect fail to do this, they will be committing blashphemy against the Holy Spirit. God does not want His elect standing before the Antichrist 'winging it' on their own. The Holy Spirit is there to guide them and is not to be denied, for by doing so they are committing an unforgiveable sin. The elect have spent their entire lives preparing just for this encounter against the Antichrist. There's a lot riding on their overcoming the influence ot the Antichrist. Some will succeed and others will fail.
Answer
Antichrist will embrace everything that the modern church teaches today. His main doctrine will be the trinity, if you do not accept the trinity then you will be cast out of your church. He will welcome the prosperity doctrine, if you do not have financial wealth he will teach that you are not a good enough Christian and that you do not love Jesus enough. He will focus on the doctrine of Paul, if you say that the teachings of Paul are lesser than the teachings of Jesus then you are apostate and worse than an unbeliever. He will teach the doctrine of work, if you want to live the life of the prophet as John the Baptist lived in the desert in sackcloth and ashes (as did all of the true prophets) then you are lazy and are to be shunned. He will teach that you should be buying and selling and building and eating and drinking and marrying and giving in marriage. Work is of more importance than Godliness, if you are not making money through your work than you are wicked. He will teach that what the church teaches is of more importance than the teachings of Jesus, as the teachings of Jesus have been replaced by the new doctrine of the church. He will teach that having material possessions is a true indication of your worth as a Christian. He will teach that any who follow the teachings of Jesus over the teachings of the church are to be outcast, you should have nothing to do with them. He will teach that no mercy should be given unto widows unless they are older then a certain age. He will teach that those that cannot work should not eat. He will boast of his achievements. He will teach that all who teach differently should be cast out. Although Jesus spent most of his life condemning the teachings of the church, and died for doing it, he will teach that the church today is perfect in doctrine and without flaw.
